Note: The no-drill factory mount kit (BSA-GM5871) allows installation without drilling into the bed using factory tie-down anchor points. It is compatible with this SKU and fits 2015–2022 Colorado / Canyon 6-foot beds. It must be purchased separately.

The Colorado and Canyon ran two distinct generations with different bed configurations. The 6-foot short bed was only offered starting in 2015 (second generation). The first-generation Colorado / Canyon (2004–2012) is a completely different truck with a different bed width and rail system. The 71x42 platform will not fit a first-gen bed.

Locking note: The hard latch system provides multiple locking positions during extension. The slide does not lock in the fully open position by default — users should be aware of this during loading on grades.

What's the difference between this SKU and 10-7142-CLB?
Finish only. The 10-7142-CLS is silver. The 10-7142-CLB is black. All structural specifications, capacity, and dimensions are identical.
What's the difference between this and SKU 10-5839-CLS?
The 10-5839-CLS is the 58" x 39" platform sized for Colorado / Canyon 5-foot beds. If you have a 5-foot bed, that is your correct SKU — not this one.
Does the slide extend all the way out to the tailgate?
The Classic operates at 75% (¾) extension. This means the platform extends most of the way out but does not reach full length past the tailgate. For full-extension access, Bedslide offers the 1500 and HD tiers.
Can I use this under a tonneau cover or truck cap?
