Note: Aluminum-bed applications require the Bedslide Aluminum Bed Install Kit, SKU BSA-HALUMKT. Bedslide lists this as required for aluminum beds; it is not listed as included with this SKU.

Critical Compatibility

8-foot bed requirement — this is the most important ordering checkpoint.

Extension correction: this is not a full-extension Bedslide. The 2000 Heavy Duty standard platform is 75% / 3/4 extension. If the buyer needs the tray to extend completely out past the tailgate, this is the wrong series; use Bedslide Max Extension instead.

Load rating note: 2,000 lb is the Bedslide’s evenly distributed cargo-slide rating. It does not override the truck’s payload rating, bed structure limits, GVWR, axle rating, or safe loading practices.

Installation method:

• Position the Bedslide in the truck bed.
• Center the unit between the wheel wells.

Does this fit my Ram 1500, 2500, or 3500?

Yes, if the truck is a Dodge/Ram 1500, 2500, or 3500 with the 8-foot long bed. Do not order this for Ram 5.7', 6.4', or 6.5' beds.

Does this fit my Ford F-150?

Yes, if the F-150 has the 8-foot bed. It does not fit 5.5-foot or 6.5-foot F-150 beds.

The Bedslide 2000 Heavy Duty 20-9548-HDS is the correct silver long-bed slide for full-size trucks that actually have the 8-foot bed and need the 2,000 lb Heavy Duty platform. This is the commercial-use direction for work trucks, fleet trucks, service trucks, mobile repair setups, contractor cargo, hunting rigs, and overland builds where lighter 1,000 lb or 1,500 lb slides are not enough.

The 95x48 size is the whole point of this SKU — and also the main reason customers order it wrong. If the bed is not an 8-foot long bed, stop. A 6.5-foot, 6.9-foot, 6.4-foot, 5.7-foot, or 5.5-foot bed needs a different Bedslide. Bed length wins over make, model, trim, engine, and drivetrain.

The 75% extension is the second major buying checkpoint. This slide gives strong rear-bed access and serious load capacity, but it does not travel 100% out past the tailgate. If full-extension reach matters more than the 2000 Heavy Duty standard platform, move to a Max Extension model.
