• Aluminum bed applications (2015+ Ford F-150) require BSA-HALUMKT installation prior to or concurrent with slide mounting. Skipping this step on an aluminum bed causes corrosion.
• Bedliner presence complicates fit. Spray-in liners may require trimming or full removal. Drop-in liners typically must be removed.
• Post-install load verification recommended before first commercial use — cycle the slide under partial load and confirm all locking positions engage before full-load application.

Common Questions

The application guide says this fits Silverado through 2018 — what if my truck is 2019 or newer?
The 2019 Silverado and Sierra received a redesigned bed with different interior dimensions. The 20-7548-HD (75") fits the pre-2019 6.5' bed. For a 2019 or newer Silverado or Sierra with a 6.5' bed, the correct SKU is 20-7848-HD (78"). Ordering the wrong size results in a non-returnable item that does not fit. Confirm your year before purchasing.

This says it fits Ram through 2001 — does nothing fit my newer Ram?
The 20-7548-HD fits Ram 1500/2500/3500 6.5' beds through model year 2001 based on Bedslide's application guide. If you have a 2002 or newer Ram, text (469) 407-7538 with your year, model, and bed length — OFAS will confirm which SKU fits before your order ships.

My F-150 has an aluminum bed. Do I need anything extra?
Yes — BSA-HALUMKT is required. The slide's steel frame in direct contact with an aluminum bed rail creates the conditions for galvanic corrosion over time. The aluminum bed install kit isolates the two materials. This applies to 2015 and newer Ford F-150. Budget for this kit before purchasing the slide — it is not included.

Does the 75% extension mean it won't reach my tailgate?
Correct. The slide extends 75% of its travel — approximately 56 inches of the 75-inch platform clears the tailgate plane. This gives you full access to the rear three-quarters of your cargo without climbing in. The slide does not travel beyond the tailgate. If your workflow requires a slide that extends fully past the tailgate, look at the Bedslide 2000 MAX Extension series instead.

What is the warranty?
5-year standard warranty. Lifetime warranty available upon product registration with Bedslide. Register immediately after installation to lock in lifetime coverage.

This thing weighs 224 lb — how does it ship?
LTL freight only. At 224 lb this cannot ship parcel. Residential freight delivery is included. OFAS will contact you after your order is placed to coordinate delivery scheduling and confirm delivery window.

The year range boundaries on this SKU are real — the 2019+ Silverado/Sierra and the 2022+ Tundra have different bed dimensions and require different SKUs. Order wrong and you have a non-returnable 224 lb slide that doesn't fit.

It is also not for the buyer who needs full tailgate clearance: the 75% extension is a design characteristic, not a configuration option.
