The price difference reflects Bedslide's own pricing structure between finish variants — there is no functional or structural difference. Silver delivers the same specs at a confirmed $287 lower cost.

My Ram has a 5.7-foot bed. How do I know if I need this SKU or the 63" x 47"?
The split is RamBox. If your Ram has RamBox — the factory-integrated lockable storage compartments built into the bed rail on each side — order 15-6347-CG (63" x 47"). If your Ram's bed rail is smooth without integrated storage lids, you do not have RamBox and this SKU is the correct fit. Ordering wrong gives you a non-returnable slide that does not seat correctly. My Silverado is a 2019 or newer — does this fit?
No. The 2019+ Silverado and Sierra received a redesigned bed with different interior dimensions. The correct silver SKU for a 2019+ Silverado or Sierra with a 5.8-foot bed is 15-6848-CG (68" x 48"). Ordering the 65" platform for a 2019+ GM truck results in a non-returnable fitment error.

My F-150 has an aluminum bed — do I need anything extra?
Yes — BSA-HALUMKT is required for any 2015 or newer Ford F-150 with an aluminum bed. Budget for this kit before purchasing.

Does this ship UPS or freight?
LTL freight. Although this slide is exactly 65 inches — the threshold at which Bedslide ships S-model slides via UPS Ground — this is a Contractor model, not an S model. The UPS Ground rule applies to S-model Bedslides only. All Contractor-tier slides ship LTL regardless of length.
