The Bedslide 2000 Heavy Duty Black 79x48 cargo slide, SKU 20-7948-HDB, is built for Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty trucks with the 6.9-foot short bed. This is not a full-extension Bedslide. Manufacturer data verifies 75% / 3/4 extension. If the buyer needs the cargo deck to travel farther out of the truck bed, this is the wrong series.

Aluminum Bed Requirement

Ford aluminum-bed applications require the Bedslide Aluminum Bed Install Kit, SKU BSA-HALUMKT. Bedslide lists the aluminum install kit for Ford 2015-up aluminum truck beds and includes mount plates, bolts, washers, nylon sleeves, aluminum riv nuts, and a riv nut tool.

Tailgate Step / Tailgate Accessory Clearance

Installation Notes

LEER’s Bedslide 1000 / 1500 / 2000 installation guide lists supplied assembly hardware, installation hardware, and required tools including an Allen wrench, drill, 1/2" drill bit, Sharpie, tape measure, 1/2" socket and ratchet, and 1/2" open-end wrench. Installation requires positioning the unit in the bed, leaving 1.5" clearance at the bulkhead, confirming tailgate closure, marking four mounting holes, drilling four 1/2" holes, installing riv nuts, and bolting the Bedslide down.
