Critical Compatibility

Installation Notes

Professional installation is recommended. The S8 Straight mounts using the included stainless steel mounting brackets. Wiring harness PN 640122 must be sourced separately before installation — the bar cannot be operated without it.

The 704003 is the 40-inch S8 in Clear — the same slim Cree LED platform as the 50-inch Amber SKU 705013, sized down to 40 inches and filtered through a clear lens for maximum raw white-light output. At 1.6 inches tall and 8.65 lbs, it's the low-profile option for builds where the OnX6+ platform's 2.69-inch height doesn't fit the application. The amber backlight feature is still present at this size and lens color — the PN 640122 harness mode switch controls it. Don't confuse the harness requirement: PN 640115 is for 10–30 inch S8 bars only. The 40-inch bar needs PN 640122 and cannot function without it.
