The LP4 Pro Clear is a dual-row rectangular LED light pod built for maximum output in clean-air conditions — trail, overlanding, and work environments where dust and fog are not a factor. The clear polycarbonate lens delivers full-spectrum daylight white output at 5000K with no wavelength filtering, putting the full capability of the dual-row array to work in conditions where scatter-back is not a concern.
The driving/combo pattern gives you long-range forward projection with lateral spread — more reach than a wide or cornering pattern, balanced for both distance and peripheral coverage. For environments where dust, fog, sand, or rain regularly reduce visibility, the amber lens variant (297813) is the correct selection — amber filters the blue wavelengths responsible for scatter-back in particulate and precipitation.

Critical Compatibility
The LP4 Pro is a rectangular pod. It does not share a mounting footprint with any round Baja Designs pod. S2 Sport, S2 Pro, Squadron Sport, Squadron Pro, XL Sport, and XL80 are all round pods — their mounts will not accept the LP4 body. There is no adapter. If your existing mount was built for a round pod, a new LP4-compatible rectangular mount is a required separate purchase.
The LP6 is a larger rectangular pod used in vehicle-specific bumper and DOT headlight replacement kits — it is not interchangeable with the LP4 Pro in universal auxiliary light applications.

Mount footprint: LP4 Pro requires an LP4-compatible rectangular mount. Confirm your mount is designed for the LP4 rectangular body before ordering. If you are upgrading from any round Baja Designs pod, budget for a new mount.
Structural rating: The pair weighs 10 lbs. Off-road vibration at speed multiplies static load significantly. Verify your mount is structurally rated for the LP4 Pro at your intended operating conditions before installing.
Relay harness — required before any wiring: The LP4 Pro dual-row LED array draws more current than factory light switch circuits are rated to handle. A relay harness rated for the LP4 Pro current draw must be purchased and installed before the pods connect to any power source. Skipping the relay harness risks burning the factory switch circuit and damaging vehicle wiring. Not included.
Aim before final torque: Set beam angle at your intended aim point before fully torquing mount hardware.
Connector sealing: Fully seat and weatherproof all wiring connectors after installation. IP69K rating applies to the pod housing — connector integrity is installer responsibility.
Road legality: Auxiliary lighting regulations vary by state. Confirm compliance with your state DMV or DOT before on-road use.

Nothing is filtered, nothing is sacrificed, and the full dual-row array works exactly as built. IP69K housing and die-cast aluminum construction mean it handles the elements on the outside regardless of what lens you're running — the lens selection is purely about what your operating environment throws at the beam.
