The Baja Designs DOT LP6 (SKU 180002) is Baja Designs' first-ever road-legal LED headlight replacement, built on the foundation of the race-proven LP6 Pro off-road light and re-engineered for on-road use. It is fully compliant with FMVSS 108 standards for both automotive and motorcycle applications — the federal standard governing headlight compliance in the United States. Six advanced projector optics deliver precise, focused output that maximizes visibility while keeping oncoming traffic safe, with integrated high and low beam functionality at Baja Designs' signature 5000K color temperature. Output is rated at 3,480 lumens low beam and 5,280 lumens high beam. This unit includes an integrated amber DRL ring — a separate clear/white DRL option is also available under a different SKU. Hard-coated polycarbonate lens, anodized aluminum housing, billet aluminum bezel, stainless steel hardware and bracket. Important Notes on Wiring Harness 640172
- This headlight is rated for both automotive and motorcycle applications under FMVSS 108.
- However, harness 640172 specifically is built for vehicle (automotive) installations only and will not work on motorcycles.
