Baja Designs 6XL Sport Linkable LED Light Bar — Universal SKU: 740004 | Universal | 6-Light | Multi-Pattern | Clear

A six-unit XL Sport Linkable LED light bar system built on Baja Designs' XL shallow moto housing. Each unit delivers 3,162 raw lumens from next-generation LEDs for 18,900 total lumens. The system supports 3 to 9 forward-projecting lights in configurable arc or straight arrangements, with 45 degrees of vertical pitch adjustment per light and independent horizontal adjustment per unit. Wiring comes fully crimped and trimmed. Toggle harness and black rock guards included. Vehicle-specific mounting brackets are sold separately.

Before ordering: This is the universal 6-light bar assembly — it does not include vehicle-specific mounting brackets. Applicable brackets are sold separately (PN 748000 or vehicle-specific equivalent). Confirm your mounting bracket before ordering. This is the 6-light variant — for the 7-light variant delivering 22,050 lumens, see SKU 740005.

Required separately: Vehicle-specific or universal mounting brackets (PN 748000). If your application requires an upfitter harness rather than the included toggle harness, source the upfitter harness (PN 640094) separately.

Verified Fitment

This light bar system is universal. It does not include mounting brackets. Confirm bracket compatibility with your bumper or roofline before ordering.

Installation Notes

Professional installation is recommended. The XL Linkable system mounts on the bumper or roofline using vehicle-specific or universal brackets (sold separately, PN 748000 or equivalent). Each light provides 45 degrees of independent vertical adjustment. Horizontal adjustment per light allows the array to be configured straight or in an arc. The wiring is fully crimped and trimmed and connects to the included toggle harness.

Refer to the current Baja Designs installation instructions for complete procedures, torque specifications, and wiring diagrams.

The Obsidian Take

The 740004 is the 6-light version of the XL Sport Linkable universal bar — the same platform as SKU 740005 with one fewer light unit and a shorter overall length (39.16 inches vs. 45.34 inches), delivering 18,900 total lumens at 156W. Choose 740004 when the 39-inch footprint fits your application better than the 45-inch 7-light bar. Everything else is identical: same per-light adjustment, same harness, same bracket requirement, same scalability to 9 total lights. Brackets are the one required additional purchase — confirm PN 748000 or your vehicle-specific bracket is also in your order.

This Product Is For You If

• You want the XL Sport Linkable light bar system in a 6-light, 39-inch configuration.
• You already have mounting brackets or are sourcing PN 748000 separately.
• You need a toggle harness configuration rather than an upfitter harness.
• You want a scalable system you can expand from 3 to 9 lights as your build grows.
• You need a shorter bar footprint than the 7-light 45-inch SKU 740005.

This Product Is Not For You If

• You do not have mounting brackets and are not sourcing PN 748000 separately — brackets are required and not included.
• You need an upfitter harness — source PN 640094 separately or see a vehicle-specific kit.
• You want the 7-light variant at 22,050 lumens and 45.34 inches — see SKU 740005.
