The Axiom Heavy Duty Heim Joint (SKU JMXL10T-F1) is a high-strength spherical rod end for UTV suspension and steering linkage applications requiring a 5/8" shank diameter, 5/8" bore, and left-hand thread. Center ball crafted from 52100 bearing steel, heat-treated and hard-chromed for long service life. Chromoly steel body with Kevlar-lined internals absorbs impact and vibration while keeping steering response tight. 3-piece rod end construction for high strength. Zinc-plated finish resists corrosion in mud, sand, rock, and trail environments. Left-hand thread heim joints pair with right-hand thread joints on the opposite end of a tie rod or suspension link, allowing the link length to be adjusted by rotating the center tube without backing either joint out — the correct adjustment method for turnbuckle-style links. Fits Axiom Supply systems and many other aftermarket tie rod and radius rod setups — not compatible with OEM tie rods. This is a wear item; inspect and replace as needed.
