The Apex Chassis KIT374-POL is the complete ProLock steering master kit for the 2005–2016 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty 4WD P221 platform — 2.125" tie rod and 2" drag link in polished 7075-T6 aluminum, both in one session with one alignment fee. SAE 1045 CNC-machined forged steel housings, SAE 4140 hot-forged induction heat-treated chromoly ball studs, ProLock™ machined keyway washers, jam nuts with 3 wrench-flat set screws, reversible drag link design with stainless steel taper sleeve, greaseable high-articulation spherical bushing on the passenger side tie rod. Raw mirror-polished finish. Excludes wide track. Full front-end alignment required post-install.

Why buy the complete kit instead of individual components?
Both components in one session means one alignment fee instead of two. The tie rod and drag link operate as a single interdependent system. If you're phasing the work, KIT372-POL (tie rod) and KIT371-POL (drag link) are available individually.
Does this fit my F-350 dually?
Yes. F-350 SRW and DRW share the same front axle knuckle geometry on the P221 platform. The dually configuration is in the rear. Both are confirmed fits across the full 2005–2016 range.
What's the difference between KIT374-POL and KIT374-BLK?
Mechanically identical — same 2.125" × 2" 7075-T6 bars, same ProLock system. POL is raw mirror-polished aluminum — show-quality finish that develops a natural patina and restores with aluminum polish. BLK is black anodized — zero maintenance, better corrosion protection for working trucks in road salt environments. Same performance, different finish standard.
My truck is a 2006 — is there anything extra I need?
Yes. 2005–2007 trucks require either a lower steering stabilizer mount or a dual stabilizer kit — the stock stabilizer mounting configuration is not compatible with this kit on those early years.
What is the minimum engagement mark?
A laser-etched reference line on the drag link threads. After adjustment this mark must remain hidden. If visible, thread engagement is unsafe — redistribute the sleeve or the truck may need a flip kit.
