Does this fit my 2023 Silverado 2500HD?
No. The HD platform did not receive this kit's compatible electronics until the 2024 model year. A 2022-2023 HD truck needs a different part number.
Does Double Cab installation really require cutting the step boards?
No. AMP's own installation manual calls for drilling the rocker panel pinch weld on certain applications to mount brackets and route wiring — not cutting the aluminum step boards with a saw. The tool list includes drill bits, sockets, and wire crimpers.
Can I run a tuner or scanner through the OBD-II port with this installed?
