The AMP Research BedStep (SKU 75322-01A) is the frame-mounted, foot-activated retractable bumper step for the 2019–2024 Ram 1500 New Body (DT platform), excluding TRX. Die-cast aluminum alloy construction, black-anodized and PTFE-coated for corrosion resistance, self-lubricating bushings, stainless steel pivot pins. Mounts under the rear bumper — works with an open tailgate or while towing. Glass-reinforced, slip-resistant resin step pad. Supports up to 300 lbs. No drilling required — installs using existing mounting holes. 11 lbs.
This is the DT (New Body) platform only. The Ram 1500 Classic (DS platform) and TRX require different SKUs.

Both were sold alongside each other from 2019–2024 and look similar. The DS (Classic) uses the previous-generation rear frame and is not compatible with this BedStep. Check your build sheet or VIN to confirm DT platform before ordering.
Does this fit a TRX?
No. The TRX uses different rear frame and exhaust routing that is not compatible with this unit.
Does installation require drilling?
