Description
The sPOD SourceLT Kit (SKU 873020) is the vehicle-specific 6-circuit solid-state power management system for the 2012–2017 Toyota Tundra (2nd Generation) with a Blue LED switch panel. The panel installs in place of the in-cab sunglass compartment — factory-style integration, no drilling, no modifications. The SourceLT module mounts in the engine bay. A single 10-foot controller cable connects both. No wires cut, no factory circuits tapped. Operates on 12V DC. Blue LED — high-contrast in-cab visibility, strong switch-state readability in daily driving and mixed-use builds.
This kit does NOT fit the 2022–2026 Tundra (3rd Gen). Confirm your model year before ordering. This system is not expandable beyond 6 circuits.

Common Questions
Blue vs. Green — what is the practical difference for daily use? Both provide strong switch-state readability in typical cab lighting conditions. Blue offers higher contrast against darker panel backgrounds in daylight and mixed interior lighting. Green sits in the middle of the visible spectrum where the eye is most sensitive — technically sharper readability across more lighting conditions. The difference is subtle in daily use and primarily comes down to personal preference and cab aesthetic. If you want your panel to match factory blue interior lighting, Blue is the cleaner visual choice.
Is Blue a poor choice for night trail use? Blue causes more pupil contraction than Amber or Red, which reduces dark adaptation recovery time when you look away from the panel. For a Tundra used primarily as a daily driver or on lit trails, this is not a meaningful concern. For extended dark backcountry driving where sustained night vision matters, Amber (873005) or Red (873010) are better choices.
Does installation require cutting factory wires? No. The SourceLT module connects directly to the battery via the included 36-inch cable set. A single CAT-6 cable runs from the module to the switch panel in the sunglass compartment position. No factory circuits are tapped, no wires are cut.
Can I expand beyond 6 circuits later? No. The SourceLT is a closed 6-circuit system with no expansion path. If there is any chance you need more circuits, order a BantamX kit for the Tundra platform now.
How do I confirm I have a 2nd gen Tundra and not a 3rd gen? The 2nd generation Tundra ran from 2007 through 2021. The 3rd generation launched for the 2022 model year. If your Tundra is a 2021 or earlier, it is a 2nd gen. Confirm on your window sticker or door jamb before ordering.
The Obsidian Take
The SourceLT Kit (873020) is for the 2012–2017 Tundra owner who wants high-contrast Blue LED illumination — clean, distinctive, and strong switch-state readability for a truck that sees daily use alongside trail time. Same system as every other color in this lineup. Six circuits, sunglass compartment mount, one cable into the cab, no relay box.
Blue is the right choice when the Tundra is primarily a daily driver or mixed-use build and you want a panel that reads clearly in typical cab lighting. If this truck runs extended dark trail sessions, step to Amber or Red for better night vision preservation. Color is the only decision left.
