The sPOD BantamX Non-Switch Panel Kit (SKU 870115) is the universal 8-circuit solid-state BantamX power module with 84-inch (7-foot) battery cables — no switch panel included. Built for builders whose module mounting location is farther from the battery or control interface than the 36-inch cable version can reach. Eight circuits at 30A each, expandable to 32 channels. Operates on 12V or 24V DC.
Switch panel is NOT included. This is the BantamX module and 84-inch cables only. If 36 inches of reach is sufficient for your installation, order SKU 870114 at $20 less.

Why would I need 84-inch cables instead of 36-inch? Remote module mounting. If your installation puts the BantamX module more than 3 feet from the battery — firewall to rear cargo area, engine bay to roof rack, front battery to mid-cab module in a van or trailer build — the 36-inch cables cannot reach. The 84-inch cables give you 7 feet of routing flexibility. Measure your exact path with a tape measure before committing to either length.
Does this kit work as a standalone wireless controller right out of the box? Yes — with the sPOD app. The BantamX module has built-in Bluetooth and is fully functional with the free sPOD app as the sole control interface. Download the app, pair, label your circuits, and control all 8 from your phone. Add a compatible sPOD switch panel via the RJ45 port when needed.
Can I expand beyond 8 circuits later? Yes. The BantamX has two RJ45 controller ports and is expandable to 32 channels. Up to 4 BantamX units can be daisy-chained. Order an additional BantamX module and connect via the second controller port when ready to expand.
Can I run two different switch panels on the same BantamX module? Yes. Two RJ45 controller ports — run two physical switch panels simultaneously, or one panel plus Bluetooth app control, from a single module.
What mounting hardware is included? None specific — this is a universal module. Mount using the 1/4-20 threaded studs on the module housing to suit your build's available mounting surface. Use the 90-degree bracket (910275) or flat bracket (910330) for a clean, permanent mount.
