Description
Is This for You?
You're building a custom off-road, overland, or UTV electrical system and need the BantamX solid-state power module with 84-inch (7-foot) cables — your module mounting location is farther from the switch panel or battery than a 36-inch cable can reach. You already have a compatible sPOD switch panel or plan to use app-based wireless control.
Switch panel is NOT included. If you need a complete kit with a switch panel, this is not the right product. If 36 inches of cable reach is sufficient for your installation, see SKU 870114 ($20 less).
The Result
Eight solid-state circuits with 84-inch (7-foot) cable reach — no relays, no fuses, no relay failures. Stable power delivery for lighting, compressors, pumps, fans, and electronics in builds where the module must be mounted remotely from the control interface.
84-Inch vs. 36-Inch — Choose the Right Cable Length
- 870115 — 84-Inch Cables — $624.95 (this listing): 7-foot reach. For remote module mounting locations.
- 870114 — 36-Inch Cables — $604.95: 3-foot reach. Standard mounting locations. $20 less.
Measure your cable routing path from module to switch panel or control interface before ordering. Choose the length that matches your installation — excess cable is manageable; insufficient cable requires a return.
No Switch Panel Included — What's In This Kit
- Included: BantamX solid-state power module, 84-inch cables, installation hardware
- NOT included: Switch panel — pair with a compatible sPOD switch panel or use app-based control
- Compatible with: sPOD switch panels and sPOD app-based wireless control systems
Solid-State Power Management — No Relays, No Fuses
- No relays — eliminates relay failure, relay noise, and relay heat load
- No fuses — solid-state overcurrent protection replaces traditional fuse-based protection
- Reduced heat load — runs cooler than relay-based systems under sustained high-draw operation
- Consistent output — stable power delivery for lighting, compressors, pumps, fans, and electronics
- Weather-resistant — connectors and housing rated for off-road and outdoor exposure
Programmable Circuit Behavior
- Standard on/off — latching control
- Momentary — circuit active only while switch is held
- Strobe — programmable strobe pattern for warning lights
- Dimming — variable output for dimmable lighting accessories

Installation Notes
- Switch panel or app control required. This kit does not include a switch panel. Confirm your compatible sPOD switch panel or app-based control system before ordering.
- Professional installation recommended. Electrical integration requires a qualified automotive electrician.
- 84-inch cable routing. Confirm your full cable routing path before installation. 7 feet of reach — plan module placement and routing before you order.
- Verify accessory load. Calculate total amperage draw per circuit before programming.
Engineering Question: Why do you need 84 inches instead of 36? Remote module mounting — firewall to rear cargo area, engine bay to roof rack, or battery-to-module separation in a van or trailer build — all justify the longer cable. Map your exact routing path with a tape measure before committing to either length. Cable management at 7 feet requires planning that 3-foot installs don't.
