Fitment, Shipping & Product Support

The sPOD ARB Compressor Wiring Harness Adapter (SKU 910110) connects your ARB air compressor to your sPOD BantamX or SourceLT system so the sPOD controls compressor activation — without cutting, splicing, or field-modifying any wiring. The adapter routes the ARB compressor's control signal through the sPOD circuit, allowing the sPOD to act as the on/off switch for the compressor and air locker activation.

Important: This adapter does not wire the ARB compressor motor through the sPOD circuit. The ARB compressor motor draws up to 40A and must remain wired direct to the battery through its included relay and fusing. The sPOD controls the signal — not the power source. If you are running a twin ARB compressor (CKMTA12) without air lockers, this adapter is not required.

What This Adapter Does — and Does Not Do

Function Detail
Controls compressor on/off via sPOD switch Yes — sPOD switch activates the ARB compressor through the adapter's control signal wire
Controls front and rear ARB air locker activation via sPOD Yes — adapter routes locker activation signals through sPOD switches
Powers the ARB compressor motor through sPOD circuit No — ARB motor draws up to 40A, which exceeds sPOD circuit capacity. Motor must wire direct to battery through ARB's included relay and fusing
Eliminates cutting or splicing Yes — plug-ready connection when used with a confirmed compatible ARB model

Critical Compatibility — Confirm Before Ordering

Configuration Notes
ARB CKMA12 single high-output compressor Confirmed compatible
ARB CKMTA12 twin compressor — with air lockers Confirmed compatible — adapter required to control locker activation via sPOD
ARB CKMTA12 twin compressor — without air lockers Adapter NOT required. Connect the purple wire directly to the sPOD circuit output. Do not order this adapter if you are not running lockers with the CKMTA12.
ARB CKSA12 air locker compressor Confirm compatibility before ordering — connector type may differ
Non-ARB air compressors Not confirmed — designed specifically for ARB compressor connector types
Running ARB motor power through sPOD circuit Not possible. ARB compressor motor draws up to 40A — above sPOD's 30A per circuit maximum. Motor must wire direct to battery.

Common Questions

Can I run my ARB CKMA12 straight through the sPOD circuit? No. The ARB CKMA12 compressor motor draws up to 40A under load — above the sPOD's 30A per circuit maximum. The compressor motor must be wired direct to the battery through the ARB's included relay and fusing. What the sPOD controls is the activation signal — the purple wire — which tells the compressor when to run. This adapter makes that signal connection plug-ready without cutting or splicing.

I have a twin ARB compressor (CKMTA12) but I am not using air lockers. Do I need this adapter? No. If you are running the CKMTA12 without air lockers, connect the purple wire from the CKMTA12 directly to your sPOD circuit output. The adapter is required only when you are controlling front and rear ARB air lockers through the sPOD in addition to the compressor.

What exactly does the sPOD switch do when this adapter is installed? The sPOD switch controls compressor activation and air locker engagement. Flipping the sPOD switch signals the ARB system to run the compressor and engage the selected locker. The compressor motor power still comes directly from the battery through ARB's relay — the sPOD is the trigger, not the power source.

Does this adapter work with both BantamX and SourceLT systems? Yes. The adapter is compatible with both the BantamX and SourceLT power management systems. Confirm your specific module variant before ordering.

The Obsidian Take

The 910110 is a single-purpose adapter — it makes the ARB-to-sPOD control signal connection plug-ready without cutting or splicing. If you are running an ARB CKMA12 or a CKMTA12 with air lockers and want sPOD switch control over compressor activation and locker engagement, this is the clean solution.

Two things to confirm before ordering. First — are you running a CKMTA12 without lockers? If so, you do not need this adapter. Second — confirm your ARB compressor model is in the confirmed compatibility list. Not all ARB compressor variants use the same connector.
