Mud Guard Check: Before installation, determine whether the factory mud guards will be retained or removed. If retained, trim the mud guards as shown in the included instruction sheet before installing the tie back brackets. If removed, no trimming is required.
Install Sequence: Remove the factory fender liner brackets at the lower rear of the front wheel well. Install the Cognito tie back brackets at the same OEM mounting locations using the included hardware. Verify the fender liner is correctly positioned and secured before driving.
Torque Specifications: Torque all mounting hardware to the specification in Cognito's included instruction sheet.
