Installation & Fabrication Notes

• This skid plate ships bare metal — prime, paint, or apply your preferred finish before or after installation to prevent rust.
• Drill one 1/2" hole on the passenger side frame at the location specified in Clayton's installation instructions before installing the skid plate.
• Install the included flange tab and hardware at the drilled passenger side frame location.
• Position the skid plate under the transfer case and long arm cross member, aligned with the 3-piece long arm cross member, OEM gas tank mount, and stock frame mounting locations.
• Bolt the skid plate to the cross member, OEM gas tank mount, stock frame mounting, and the new passenger side flange tab per Clayton's installation instructions.
• Torque all hardware to specification.
• For complete underbody protection, install the Clayton engine skid plate (COR-4108912) and gas tank skid plate (COR-4108202 for 2-Door or COR-4108204 for 4-Door).

Wheel & Tire Fitment

Compatible with standard JK wheel and tire combinations. This transfer case skid plate does not affect wheel or tire fitment directly.
