- You're running a JK and your steering stabilizer keeps getting hit on rocks below the tie rod — this bracket raises the stabilizer above the tie rod using a double-shear axle mount, and on the JK you can reuse your factory tie rod mount: unbolt the stabilizer, bolt this bracket to the axle, loosen and twist the stock tie rod mount above the tie rod, tighten, and reinstall. No drilling, no extra parts.
- You're running a JL or JT and want just the axle bracket without the full kit — this is the axle bracket only. JL/JT installation requires one 3/8" drill hole and an additional tie rod mount (COR-5200940). If you need the complete JL/JT package including the tie rod mount, order COR-5209011 instead.
- You want to relocate your stabilizer without losing access to your track bar bolt — the bracket is specifically dimensioned to clear the track bar bolt head, so you can inspect and retorque your track bar hardware without removing the bracket or the stabilizer.

The COR-5209010 is Clayton Off Road's steering stabilizer high-clearance relocation bracket for the 2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK, 2018–2026 Jeep Wrangler JL, and 2020–2026 Jeep Gladiator JT. This is the axle bracket only — it does not include a tie rod mount. The bracket is CNC laser-cut and bent from 3/16" steel with a gold zinc plated finish and clamps to the factory axle bracket using Grade 8 hardware. Installation differs by platform: on the JK, the factory tie rod mount can be reused by unbolting the stabilizer, installing this bracket on the axle, loosening and rotating the stock tie rod mount above the tie rod, and reinstalling — no drilling required. On the JL and JT, one 3/8" hole must be drilled in the factory axle bracket, and an additional tie rod mount (COR-5200940) is required. For JL/JT owners who want the complete solution, COR-5209011 is the packaged kit that includes this bracket plus COR-5200940. The bracket is designed to clear the track bar bolt head, allowing the track bar hardware to be inspected and retorqued without removing the stabilizer bracket. Includes an upgraded Grade 8 flanged track bar bolt and top-lock nut at 146 ft-lbs. Compatible with factory and most aftermarket stabilizers. Installation & Fabrication Notes
- JK Installation: Unbolt the factory steering stabilizer from the axle. Bolt this bracket to the factory axle mount using the included Grade 8 hardware. Loosen the factory tie rod stabilizer mount, rotate it above the tie rod, and retighten. Reinstall the stabilizer. No drilling required.
- JL/JT Installation: Drill one 3/8" hole in the factory axle bracket. Install this bracket using the included Grade 8 hardware. Install COR-5200940 tie rod mount on the factory tie rod. Reinstall the stabilizer. If you haven't ordered COR-5200940, order COR-5209011 instead for the complete kit.
- Install the included Grade 8 flanged track bar bolt and top-lock nut in place of the OEM track bar bolt — torque to 146 ft-lbs.
- Top-lock nut warning: will not thread to final position by hand — start by hand to confirm thread engagement, then torque with a calibrated wrench.
- Verify track bar bolt head is accessible after bracket installation before final torque.
- Factory tie rod required for the tie rod stabilizer mount — if running an aftermarket tie rod, source the appropriate bracket for your specific tie rod diameter.
Wheel & Tire Fitment
Compatible with standard JK/JL/JT wheel and tire combinations. Stabilizer relocation does not affect wheel or tire fitment directly.
