• You're running 3–6" of lift on your XJ or ZJ and already have a Clayton adjustable front track bar — you need the OE-height bracket only to put the track bar in double shear without lowering the mount height — this is the OE-height bracket sold separately, not a complete track bar kit. The double-shear design puts the track bar bolt in double shear, eliminating the risk of over-flexing the joint under lateral load. OE height means the stock pitman arm is compatible at 3–6" of lift.

The COR-4500400 is Clayton Off Road's front track bar OE-height bracket for the 1984–2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ and 1993–1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ, sold as a standalone bracket for customers who already have a Clayton adjustable front track bar and need the bracket separately. This bracket maintains the OEM track bar height position — unlike the drop bracket version (COR-4500410, designed for 6–8" of lift), this bracket does not lower the frame-side mount. At 3–6" of lift, the OE-height position allows the stock pitman arm to be used without modification. The bracket is CNC laser-cut and bent from 1/4" steel and bolts to the OEM frame track bar mount location. Welding is optional for added strength. Installation & Fabrication Notes

• Bolt the bracket to the OEM frame front track bar mount location using the factory bolt holes.
• Verify bracket position and angle per Clayton's installation instructions.
• Welding is optional — add welds for additional strength if desired after confirming alignment.
• Install the Clayton adjustable front track bar (with 2.5" forged Johnny Joint) to the bracket mount hole using the 9/16" Grade 8 bolt.
• Set the track bar length with the vehicle at ride height and the front axle centered under the vehicle.
• Stock pitman arm is compatible at 3–6" of lift — no drop pitman arm required at this lift range.
• Torque all hardware to specification at ride height.
• Verify front axle centering and have the front alignment checked after installation.

Wheel & Tire Fitment

Compatible with standard XJ and ZJ wheel and tire combinations at 3–6" of lift. Front track bar bracket position affects front axle centering and tire clearance — verify equal clearance on both sides after installation.

Engineering Question: Do you already have a Clayton adjustable front track bar with a 2.5" forged Johnny Joint, or do you need the complete kit? If you need the complete front track bar with OE-height bracket, order COR-4500502 instead. Also confirm your lift height is 3–6" — for 6–8" of lift, the drop bracket COR-4500410 is the correct choice and a drop pitman arm will be required. After installation, have the front alignment checked.
