The COR-4500410 is Clayton Off Road's front track bar drop bracket for the 1984–2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ and 1993–1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ, sold as a standalone bracket for customers who already have a Clayton adjustable front track bar and need the drop bracket separately. At 6–8" of lift, the factory front track bar angle becomes steep enough that a drop bracket is required to correct the geometry. This bracket is CNC laser-cut and bent from 1/4" steel and bolts to the OEM frame track bar mount location. Welding is recommended for additional strength but is not mandatory — the bracket can be used in a bolt-only configuration. Installation & Fabrication Notes

• Bolt the bracket to the OEM frame front track bar mount location using the factory bolt holes.
• Verify bracket position and angle per Clayton's installation instructions before finalizing.
• Welding is recommended for additional strength — add welds after confirming alignment if desired.
• Apply primer, paint, or your preferred finish to the bare metal bracket after installation and before extended use.
• Install the Clayton adjustable front track bar (with 2.5" Currie Johnny Joint) to the drop bracket mount hole using the 9/16" bolt.
• Set the track bar length with the vehicle at ride height and the front axle centered under the vehicle.
• Torque all hardware to specification at ride height.
• Verify front axle centering and have the front alignment checked after installation.
• A drop pitman arm is recommended when running 6–8" of lift — see COR-4500512 kit notes for guidance.

Wheel & Tire Fitment

Compatible with standard XJ and ZJ wheel and tire combinations at 6–8" of lift. Front track bar drop bracket position affects front axle centering and tire clearance — verify equal clearance on both sides after installation.

Engineering Question: Do you already have a Clayton adjustable front track bar with a 2.5" Currie Johnny Joint, or do you need the complete kit? If you need the complete front track bar with drop bracket, order COR-4500512 instead. Also confirm your lift height is 6–8" — for 3–6" of lift, the OE-height bracket COR-4500502 is the correct choice. After installation, have the front alignment checked and consider adding a drop pitman arm at this lift height.
