Description
Is This for You?
- You're running 3.5" or 4.5" of lift on your JK and experiencing bump steer, death wobble, or steering geometry issues caused by the factory drag link and track bar running at incorrect angles — this kit corrects front steering geometry by flipping the drag link above the tie rod and raising the track bar mount, restoring proper Ackermann geometry at your lift height.
- You want a bolt-and-weld solution that lets you drive the JK to a welder after initial installation — the bracket installs with three 3/8" bolts and one 9/16" bolt with spacer into the factory axle location, allowing temporary driving before final welding. You can install this in your driveway, then drive to a certified welder for final weld-out.
- You're building a complete front steering upgrade on your JK and need a track bar bracket, raised stabilizer mount, and relocated sway bar mount in one kit — the 1/4" track bar bracket bolts and welds to the front axle, raises the track bar for differential cover clearance, and incorporates a new lower sway bar mount position. An adjustable front track bar is strongly recommended to complete the geometry correction.
The Result
- Drag link flip corrects steering geometry at 3.5–4.5" of lift — moves the drag link above the tie rod to restore proper front steering angles and eliminate bump steer caused by mismatched link angles.
- 1/4" bolt-and-weld track bar bracket raises the track bar mount — adds clearance between the track bar and differential cover, strengthens the factory bracket location by welding to the axle.
- Raised stabilizer mount + relocated lower sway bar mount — integrated into the bracket for a complete front axle geometry correction in one kit.
The COR-5208110 is Clayton Off Road's drag link flip high steer correction kit for the 2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK, designed for use with Clayton's 3.5" and 4.5" lift kits. At these lift heights, the factory drag link and track bar run at angles that cause bump steer, steering wander, and in severe cases, death wobble — because the drag link and tie rod are no longer parallel and the track bar is too low relative to the differential cover. This kit addresses both issues: the drag link flip moves the drag link above the tie rod to restore parallel link geometry, and the 1/4" track bar bracket raises the track bar mount point for differential cover clearance and improved track bar angle. The bracket is designed to bolt into the factory axle bracket location using three 3/8" bolts and one 9/16" bolt with spacer, allowing the vehicle to be driven temporarily before final welding — install in the driveway, drive to a certified welder, and weld both sides of the bracket for permanent installation. The bracket also incorporates a new relocated lower sway bar mount. An adjustable front track bar is strongly recommended after installation to re-center the front axle at the new track bar mount height. Made in the USA.

Verified Fitment (OFAS Standard)
✅ Fits 2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK (2-Door and 4-Door) — All Trims — 3.5" to 4.5" Lift
❌ Does NOT fit Jeep Wrangler JL (2018–2026) — different front axle and steering geometry
❌ Does NOT fit Jeep Gladiator JT (2020–2026) — different front axle and steering geometry
❌ Does NOT fit Jeep Wrangler TJ/LJ (1997–2006) — different front axle architecture
❌ Not recommended for lifts below 3.5" or above 4.5" without verifying geometry correction requirements
❌ Welding required for permanent installation — temporary bolt-in driving only before weld-out
Installation & Fabrication Notes
- Welding required for permanent installation. The bracket can be driven temporarily after bolt-in, but must be welded to the front axle for permanent use. Drive to a certified welder after initial installation.
- Install bracket using three 3/8" bolts and one 9/16" bolt with spacer into the factory axle bracket location — verify all bolts are fully seated and snug before driving to the welder.
- Weld both sides of the bracket to the front axle — full-penetration welds on all bracket-to-axle contact surfaces. Do not stitch weld only on load-bearing joints.
- After welding, coat all bare metal with weld-through primer and chassis paint to prevent corrosion at weld zones.
- Install an adjustable front track bar after bracket installation to re-center the front axle at the new track bar mount height — the factory track bar will be the wrong length for the raised mount position.
- Front alignment (caster, toe, thrust angle) must be set after full installation.
- Verify sway bar end link length is appropriate for the relocated lower sway bar mount position after installation.
Wheel & Tire Fitment
Compatible with standard JK wheel and tire combinations at 3.5–4.5" of lift. Steering geometry correction directly affects tire wear and handling — verify front alignment after installation with your specific tire size.
Engineering Question: Are you running exactly 3.5" or 4.5" of lift on your JK? This kit is designed for those specific lift heights with Clayton's lift kits. If you're running a different lift height or a non-Clayton lift kit, verify that the drag link flip geometry correction is appropriate for your specific setup before ordering. Also confirm you have access to a certified welder for final weld-out after bolt-in installation.
