Description
Axiom Wheel Speed Sensor | ABS & Traction Control | 2001–2007 Chevy Silverado / GMC Sierra 2500HD & 3500HD (Classic Body Style — GMT800)
The Axiom Wheel Speed Sensor (SKU: AX19300584) is an OEM-grade direct-fit replacement wheel speed sensor for 2001–2007 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD/3500HD and GMC Sierra 2500HD/3500HD trucks in Classic body style (GMT800 platform). The wheel speed sensor delivers precise wheel-speed data to the ABS module, traction control system, and stability control system. A failed or corroded sensor causes ABS warning lights, erratic braking behavior, traction control faults, and disabled stability control. This sensor restores accurate signal output and correct system operation. Direct plug-and-play connector — no wiring modification required. Corrosion-resistant housing for heavy-duty truck environments.
Verified Fitment (OFAS Standard)
- Chevy Silverado 2500HD Classic Body: 2001–2007 (GMT800)
- Chevy Silverado 3500HD Classic Body: 2001–2007 (GMT800)

- GMC Sierra 3500HD Classic Body: 2001–2007 (GMT800)
Does NOT fit: 2007 New Body Style Silverado/Sierra HD (GMT900 platform — different sensor connector and hub assembly). Does not fit 2008 or newer Silverado/Sierra HD. Does not fit Silverado/Sierra 1500 (different sensor). Confirm Classic body style (GMT800) before ordering — 2007 is a split year with both Classic and New Body trucks in production.

Installation Notes
- Body style confirmation required: Confirm your 2007 truck is the Classic body style (GMT800) before ordering. The 2007 model year includes both Classic (GMT800) and New Body (GMT900) trucks — they use different sensors with incompatible connectors.
- Replace in pairs: When diagnosing ABS faults, replace sensors in pairs (both front or both rear) for best results. A marginal sensor on the opposite side can cause continued ABS faults even after replacing the failed unit.
- Connector inspection: Inspect the wiring harness connector for corrosion, broken pins, or damaged wiring before installation. A corroded connector will cause signal faults even with a new sensor.
- Torque specs: Torque sensor mounting hardware to OEM specification for 2001–2007 GM 2500HD/3500HD (verify in GM service manual). Do not overtorque — sensor housing can crack.
- Code clearing: After installation, clear ABS and traction control fault codes with a scan tool. Drive the vehicle above 15 mph to allow the ABS module to relearn wheel speed signal and confirm the warning light clears.
Installation Warning
Do not install on 2007 New Body Style (GMT900) or 2008 or newer GM HD trucks — connector and hub geometry are incompatible. Confirm Classic body style before ordering. Do not overtorque sensor mounting hardware — sensor housing damage will cause signal faults. Clear fault codes after installation and verify warning lights clear before returning the vehicle to service. Once installed, the unit is non-returnable.
What warning lights are present, which wheel position is affected (front left, front right, rear left, rear right), and have you confirmed your 2007 truck is Classic body style (GMT800) and not New Body (GMT900)?
