Usage Notes

• Do not mix grease types: Mixing incompatible grease types (e.g., lithium with calcium or polyurea) can cause grease breakdown, loss of film strength, and accelerated component wear. If switching grease types, purge the old grease completely before applying new grease.
• Grease compatibility: Confirm this grease is compatible with your specific application before use. Wheel bearing grease, chassis grease, and high-temp grease have different formulations — verify Shell Gadus specification matches your component manufacturer’s recommendation.
• Application method: Apply via grease gun for zerk fittings. For wheel bearings, pack by hand or with a bearing packer tool to ensure full grease penetration through the bearing cage.
• Service intervals: Follow OEM or component manufacturer lubrication intervals for your specific application. Do not over-grease — excess grease in sealed bearings can damage seals and cause contamination.
