Description
Axiom Lifetime Warranty Wheel Bearing Hub Assembly | 2007–2013 Chevy Silverado / GMC Sierra 1500 6-Lug | ABS Sensor Included
The Axiom Lifetime Warranty Wheel Bearing Hub Assembly (SKU: AX515096) is a complete, sealed wheel bearing and hub assembly for 2007–2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 6-lug trucks (GMT900 platform). A worn or failing wheel bearing causes vibration, humming or grinding noise, ABS fault codes, uneven tire wear, and in severe cases unsafe wheel movement. This complete hub assembly replaces the entire bearing and hub unit in a single installation — no bearing press required. Pre-installed ABS sensor for OEM-style plug-and-play connection. Precision-machined bearing surfaces. Corrosion-resistant housing. Sealed maintenance-free design. Backed by Axiom Supply lifetime warranty.
Verified Fitment (OFAS Standard)
- Chevy Silverado 1500 6-Lug (Front or Rear): 2007–2013 (GMT900)
- GMC Sierra 1500 6-Lug (Front or Rear): 2007–2013 (GMT900)
Does NOT fit: 2014 or newer Silverado/Sierra 1500 (K2XX platform — different hub assembly). Does not fit 2006 or earlier Silverado/Sierra 1500 (GMT800 — different hub). Does not fit 4-lug Silverado/Sierra 1500. Does not fit 2500HD or 3500HD. Confirm model year and 6-lug configuration before ordering.

Symptoms of a Failing Wheel Bearing
- Humming, grinding, or rumbling noise that changes with vehicle speed
- Noise that increases or decreases when turning left or right (load shift)
- Vibration through the steering wheel or floorboard at highway speed
- ABS warning light or traction control fault codes
- Uneven or accelerated tire wear on the affected corner
- Detectable play or looseness in the wheel when checked by hand at 12 and 6 o’clock
Installation Notes
- Replace in pairs recommended: If one wheel bearing has failed, the opposite side has experienced the same mileage and load cycles. Replacing both sides simultaneously prevents a repeat repair within a short interval.
- ABS connector: Disconnect the ABS sensor connector before removing the old hub assembly. Inspect the connector and wiring harness for damage before installing the new unit. A damaged connector will cause ABS fault codes even with a new sensor.
- Axle nut torque — mandatory: Torque the axle nut to OEM specification for 2007–2013 GM 1500 (verify in GM service manual). Do not estimate — undertorque allows hub movement and accelerated bearing wear; overtorque damages the bearing preload.
- Wheel lug torque: Torque wheel lug nuts to OEM specification after installation. Re-torque after the first 50 miles.
- ABS code clearing: After installation, clear any stored ABS or traction control fault codes with a scan tool. Verify ABS system function before returning the vehicle to service.
- Brake inspection: Inspect brake rotors, pads, and caliper hardware while the hub is removed. Address any brake wear before reinstalling the wheel.
Installation Warning
Do not install on 2014 or newer Silverado/Sierra 1500 (K2XX) — hub assembly is incompatible. Do not install on 4-lug models or 2500HD/3500HD. Torque axle nut to OEM specification — do not estimate. Clear ABS fault codes after installation and verify system function before driving. Once installed, the assembly is non-returnable.
Have you confirmed your truck is 2007–2013 GMT900 6-lug (not 2014+ K2XX and not 4-lug), and are you replacing both sides — confirm front or rear position before ordering?
