Description
Axiom High Clearance Upper Control Arms | 2009–2014 Polaris RZR S 800
The Axiom High Clearance Upper Control Arms (SKU: AXRZ800UCA) are a complete upper control arm (UCA) kit engineered for 2009–2014 Polaris RZR S 800. Factory RZR S 800 upper control arms limit ground clearance and are vulnerable to rock and obstacle strikes in aggressive trail and rock crawling environments. These high-clearance arms raise the arm profile to increase ground clearance and reduce hang-up risk while maintaining OEM-style mounting points and proper suspension geometry. Sold as a complete kit. Front-end alignment is required after installation. Confirm your RZR is the S 800 model before ordering — this kit does not fit the standard RZR 800 or RZR XP. Also available in powdercoat finish — see AXRZ800UCA (Powdercoat).
Verified Fitment (OFAS Standard)
- Polaris RZR S 800: 2009–2014
Does NOT fit: Standard Polaris RZR 800 (non-S) — different chassis geometry. Does not fit Polaris RZR XP 900 or RZR XP 1000 — different platform. Does not fit RZR 570. Does not fit 2008 or earlier RZR S. Does not fit 2015 or newer RZR S models. Confirm RZR S 800 model year before ordering.
RZR S 800 UCA Finish Options
- Standard Finish: AXRZ800UCA (this listing) — $599.99
- Powdercoat Finish: AXRZ800UCA (Powdercoat variant) — $599.99
Technical Specifications
- SKU: AXRZ800UCA
- Type: High clearance upper control arm kit (UCA)
- Mounting: OEM-style direct-fit mounting points
- Application: 2009–2014 Polaris RZR S 800 — trail, rock crawling, aggressive off-road
Why High Clearance Upper Control Arms
- Factory RZR S 800 UCAs sit low and are vulnerable to rock strikes and obstacle hang-ups on aggressive terrain
- High-clearance geometry raises the arm profile to reduce ground contact and protect the arm from damage
- Maintains proper suspension travel and geometry — not a lift kit, does not raise ride height
- OEM mounting points allow direct installation without chassis modification
Installation Notes
- Alignment mandatory: A full front-end alignment is required after UCA installation. Do not drive the vehicle beyond a short test drive until aligned — incorrect alignment causes rapid tire wear and compromised handling.
- RZR S 800 confirmation required: Confirm your RZR is the S 800 model (not standard RZR 800, not RZR XP) before ordering. Mounting geometry differs between models and this kit will not fit non-S or XP platforms.
- Bushing and hardware inspection: Inspect all existing bushings, ball joints, and hardware during installation. Replace worn components before installing new arms.
- Torque specs: Torque all UCA hardware to Polaris OEM specification for 2009–2014 RZR S 800 (verify in Polaris service manual or Axiom install sheet). Torque with suspension at ride height — not at full droop.
- 500-mile re-torque: Re-torque all hardware after the first 500 miles following installation.
Installation Warning
Do not install on standard RZR 800 (non-S), RZR XP, RZR 570, or any non-S 800 platform — mounting geometry is incompatible. Alignment is mandatory — do not drive without aligning. Torque at ride height — not at full droop. Once installed, the kit is non-returnable.
Engineering Question: Have you confirmed your RZR is the S 800 model (2009–2014, not standard RZR 800 or RZR XP)? Confirm model designation on your VIN sticker or Polaris build sheet — the S 800 and standard RZR 800 share similar bodywork but have different chassis geometry. Also confirm whether you want standard or powdercoat finish before ordering.
