Description
Axiom Alignment Cam Pin Set | 1999β2026 Chevy Silverado / GMC Sierra 1500, 2500HD & 3500HD | Caster & Camber Lock
The Axiom Alignment Cam Pin Set (SKU: AXGM86325) is a direct-fit replacement cam pin set for the upper control arm alignment slots on 1999β2026 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500, 2500HD, and 3500HD trucks. Cam pins lock the upper control arm in the correct caster and camber position, preventing alignment drift under heavy load, towing, and rough terrain. Worn, corroded, or missing cam pins allow the upper control arm to shift position, causing caster and camber to drift out of spec β resulting in steering wander, uneven tire wear, and inconsistent handling. Heavy-duty metal construction with corrosion-resistant finish. OEM-style direct-fit replacement. Replace in pairs. Front-end alignment is required after installation. Covers GMT800 (1999β2006), GMT900 (2007β2013), K2XX (2014β2019), and T1XX (2020β2026) platforms.

When to Replace Cam Pins
- During any front-end alignment service on 1999β2026 GM trucks
- When cam pins are visibly corroded, worn, or damaged on inspection
- After installing a leveling kit, lift kit, or upper control arms that require alignment correction
- When alignment cannot be held or drifts after service β worn pins allow UCA movement
- As a preventive replacement during front suspension rebuilds on high-mileage trucks
Installation Notes
- Alignment mandatory: A full front-end alignment (caster, camber, toe) is required after cam pin replacement. Do not drive the vehicle until aligned by a qualified alignment technician.
- Replace in pairs: Replace cam pins on both sides simultaneously. Mismatched pin condition between left and right will cause unequal caster/camber settings and inconsistent handling.
- Inspect UCA slots: Inspect the upper control arm alignment slots for wear or elongation before installing new pins. Worn or elongated slots will not retain the cam pin correctly and will allow continued alignment drift.
- Torque specs: Torque cam pin hardware to OEM specification for your GM truck platform (verify in GM service manual). Torque with suspension at ride height β not at full droop.
- Pairing recommendation: If cam bolts (AXGM0026) are also worn or seized, replace cam bolts and cam pins together at the same alignment appointment to restore full caster and camber adjustment and locking capability in a single visit.
Installation Warning
Do not drive the vehicle until a full front-end alignment has been completed β cam pin position directly affects caster and camber. Do not install on 1998 or earlier GM trucks β different UCA configuration. Replace both sides simultaneously. Inspect UCA slots for wear before installing β worn slots will not retain pins correctly. Once installed, the kit is non-returnable.
What suspension work are you pairing this with (alignment service, leveling kit, or UCA replacement), and have you confirmed your truck is 1999β2026 GMT800/GMT900/K2XX/T1XX β do you also need cam bolts (AXGM0026)?
