Why chromoly steel and not aluminum on the P558/P702 platform: The 2017–2026 Super Duty has significantly tighter clearance tolerances around the front differential cover and track bar brackets than the 2005–2016 generation. The precision clearance bends required to sweep cleanly past those components at every point in the suspension travel are only achievable in chromoly steel — the wall thickness required to maintain the same structural integrity in aluminum makes the clearance geometry physically impossible on this platform.

P558 vs P221 generation split — critical: The 2017–2026 Super Duty uses completely different steering geometry than the 2005–2016 generation. If your truck is a 2016 or earlier, stop here and see KIT371-BLK.
⚠️ F-350 Wide-Track / Fat Fender owners: The factory wide-track front axle on certain F-350 configurations changes steering geometry lengths. This bar will not center properly on a Wide-Track axle. Confirm standard track width before ordering.
⚠️ BDS Adjustable Trackbar incompatibility: The adjustment collars on the BDS trackbar occupy the exact same physical space as the precision clearance bends on this bar during deep steering cycles. Q: Will this fix the bump steer and wander on my lifted 2017–2026 F-250 or F-350?
Yes. By correcting the operational angle of the drag link back into its designed threshold for 2–6" lifts, it removes the feedback loop causing steering wander and bump steer on the P558/P702 platform. A full alignment after installation is required to complete the correction. If your tie rod is also OEM, consider the KIT375-BLK complete kit — correcting the drag link without addressing the tie rod leaves a partial fix.
Q: My 2022 F-350 is a dually — does this fit?
No. The KIT373-BLK fits F-350 SRW standard track width only. Dually and Wide-Track F-350 models have a wider front axle that changes steering geometry lengths and is not compatible with this unit.
Q: Why can't I run this with my BDS adjustable trackbar or Fox ATS/TS stabilizer?
The BDS trackbar adjustment collars physically occupy the same space as the precision clearance bends during deep steering cycles — they will bind. The Fox ATS/TS clamping profile conflicts with the bar geometry. Both are hard incompatibilities, not preferences. This unit is engineered for the 2017–2026 P558/P702 platform using 1.75" solid chromoly steel with platform-specific clearance bends. Different generations, different geometry, different materials.
