Factory tie rod and drag link sleeves on the 2014–2022 Ram HD were engineered for narrow stock tires at stock height. When you lift it, add 35s or 37s, and place the immense weight of a 6.7L Cummins diesel block over the front axle, the factory linkage bows and flexes under the leverage — feeding the tracking instability, highway wander, and death wobble that makes a built Ram exhausting to drive.
The Apex Chassis KIT185 is the permanent engineering fix. A complete 1.75" heavy-wall DOM steel tie rod and drag link assembly with Ninja Washers locking system and E-coat protection — engineered specifically for the 2014–2022 Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 4WD radius-arm platform at 0–6" of lift. Gas or 6.7L Cummins diesel. Both components. One kit. Front end locked.

Why DOM steel on the Ram HD radius-arm platform: The 2014–2022 Ram HD radius-arm geometry provides the correct clearance envelope for the 1.75" outer diameter on both bars. The DOM process eliminates the internal weld seam and produces uniform wall thickness throughout — delivering immediate structural resistance against bending under the immense leverage of a heavy 6.7L Cummins block over the front axle with wide aftermarket wheel offsets. Factory thin-walled stamped sleeves yield under these loads. This does not.
Why Ninja Washers over standard adjusting sleeves: Apex completely eliminates the thin factory adjusting sleeves and weak pinch clamps that slip out of alignment under strain. The Ninja Washers mechanical keyway system combined with dual-thread jam nuts physically locks your toe and drag link dimensions. It cannot back out or slip on the trail or under extreme towing stress.
Unsprung mass note: At 60.5 lbs this is a maximum-duty structural assembly. Performance-valved tracking shocks or an upgraded steering stabilizer setup are strongly recommended — stock shocks are not optimally valved for the added mass over harsh highway chatter.
