AMP Research PowerStep | Plug-N-Play LED | 2019–2026 Ram 1500 New Body (DT Platform)
The AMP Research PowerStep is a fully automatic retractable running board engineered for the 2019–2026 Ram 1500 New Body (DT platform). On door open, the step deploys to provide a wide, illuminated stepping surface. On door close, it retracts flush to the rocker panel for maximum ground clearance and a clean OEM profile. Plug-N-Play wiring — no splicing required. Die-cast aluminum linkages are anodized and PTFE-coated for long-term corrosion resistance. Weather-sealed motors rated for mud, snow, and extreme temperatures.
Verified Fitment (OFAS Standard)
- Ram 1500 New Body (DT Platform): 2019–2026 (Crew Cab and Quad Cab — confirm cab configuration matches part number)
Does NOT fit: 2019–2024 Ram 1500 Classic (DS platform — different rocker geometry and wiring). Does not fit 1994–2018 Ram 1500. Confirm your body style (New Body DT vs. Classic DS) before ordering — both were sold simultaneously from 2019–2024.

Installation Warning
The Ram 1500 New Body (DT) and Ram 1500 Classic (DS) were sold concurrently from 2019–2024. This SKU fits the DT platform only. Installing on a Classic (DS) will result in wiring and mounting incompatibility. Not compatible with aftermarket rock sliders — verify rocker panel clearance before installation. Confirm exact cab configuration (Crew or Quad Cab) matches the part number before ordering. Once installed and wiring is connected, the unit is non-returnable.
