At Obsidian Forged Auto Supply, our goal is to provide engineering-level fitment and a transparent purchasing experience. Because our 2,000+ SKU catalog consists of specialty, vehicle-specific components often shipped directly from manufacturer partners, all returns must adhere to the following professional guidelines.

1. 30-Day Return Eligibility

Return requests must be submitted within 30 days of delivery. To be eligible for a return, items must be:

  • Unused & Uninstalled: Products that show signs of mounting, bolting, or "test-fitting" are not eligible.

  • Original Packaging: Must include all hardware, brackets, instructions, and intact internal packaging.

  • Resalable Condition: Free of scratches, grease, or modifications.

2. Non-Returnable Specialty Items

Per industry standards and manufacturer requirements, the following items are Final Sale:

  • Electrical Components: sPOD, Rigid Industries, and all wiring harnesses.

  • Tuning & Software: Programmers, modules, or unlocked electronic devices.

  • Custom/Made-to-Order: Specialized suspension configurations or custom-drilled wheels.

  • Installed Parts: Any component that has been bolted to a vehicle.

3. Transparent Restocking Fees

All approved returns are subject to a fixed 18% restocking fee. This fee is non-negotiable and covers:

  • Manufacturer-mandated restocking charges.

  • Technical inspection and repackaging labor.

  • Administrative processing of manufacturer credits.

  • Partial recovery of outbound freight costs (including orders originally shipped under our "Free Shipping" program).

4. The "Obsidian-Guided" Return Process

Do not ship any product back without a Return Goods Authorization (RGA). Unauthorized returns may be refused at the warehouse dock.

  1. Request Authorization: Contact us at 469-407-7538 or Support@obsidianforgedautosupply.com with your order number and photos of the unopened product.

  2. Technical Review: Our team in Alba, Texas will verify eligibility with the manufacturer (BDS, FOX, JKS, etc.).

  3. Shipping: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs and ensuring the item is insured. We recommend using a carrier with tracking (UPS/FedEx).

  4. Inspection: Once the manufacturer receives and inspects the unit, they notify us of the credit approval.

5. Refunds & Processing Times

Refunds are issued to the original payment method only after manufacturer approval.

  • Deductions: Your refund will reflect the 18% restocking fee and any original outbound LTL freight costs if applicable.

  • Timeline: Manufacturer inspections typically take 5–10 business days. Once approved, we process your credit within 48 hours.

6. Damaged or Incorrect Shipments

If your order arrives damaged or contains the wrong SKU, contact us within 3 business days. Provide photos of the packaging and the part. We will coordinate a carrier claim or a manufacturer replacement at no cost to you. Do not attempt to install an incorrect or damaged part, as this voids the return eligibility.
