Description
AMP Research BedStep | 300 lb Tailgate Bed Step | 2021–2026 Ford F-150 & 2022–2026 F-150 Lightning
The AMP Research BedStep is a frame-mounted tailgate access step engineered for the 2021–2026 Ford F-150 (14th generation) and 2022–2026 F-150 Lightning. Mounts to the rear frame on the driver or passenger side, providing fast and stable bed access without climbing over the tailgate. Foot-activated deploy and retract — stows flush to maintain ground clearance and a clean OEM profile. High-strength aluminum construction with a reinforced hinge system rated to 300 lbs. Textured step pad delivers reliable traction in mud, snow, and wet conditions.
Verified Fitment (OFAS Standard)
- Ford F-150 (14th Gen): 2021–2026 — all bed lengths, 2WD and 4WD
- Ford F-150 Lightning: 2022–2026 — all bed lengths
Does NOT fit: 2020 or earlier Ford F-150 (13th gen — different rear frame geometry). Does not fit F-150 Raptor or Raptor R (different rear frame profile). Verify clearance with aftermarket rear bumpers, rear armor, and tow sensor brackets before ordering.

Installation Warning
This SKU is fitment-specific to the 2021–2026 F-150 14th generation platform and 2022–2026 Lightning. Do not install on 2020 or earlier F-150 (13th gen) — rear frame mounting points are incompatible. Raptor and Raptor R models are not compatible due to a different rear frame profile. Verify clearance with aftermarket rear bumpers, rear armor, tow sensor brackets, and trailer hitch receivers before ordering. Lightning buyers should confirm Pro Power Onboard and tow sensor bracket clearance before installation. Once installed, the unit is non-returnable.
Can you confirm your F-150 is a 2021–2026 14th generation or Lightning (not a Raptor or 2020 and earlier), and are you running any aftermarket rear bumper or armor that could affect step mounting clearance?
