- You're on a 2019–2026 Ram 1500 Rebel or Off-Road Package 4WD running RamBox, a Multi-Function Tailgate, aftermarket bumpers, a bed rack, or a toolbox — and you need HD rear springs calibrated for a constant ~500 lb bed load, not a standard-rate spring that will sag under that weight.
- You want King 2.5" Remote Reservoir coilovers up front and King 2.5" Piggyback rears with Carli-fabricated Uniball Upper Control Arms — 9" of front travel, 12" of rear travel, and 17-4 stainless shafts on the front coilovers.
- You are NOT on a standard Ram 1500 trim and you do NOT have factory 4-corner air suspension — this system requires the Rebel or Off-Road Package front coil perch geometry and is incompatible with air-ride equipped trucks.
⚠️ HD Application Warning: The HD rear springs in this kit are calibrated for a constant ~500 lb bed load. Without that sustained load — RamBox, Multi-Function Tailgate, aftermarket bumpers, or equivalent — the rear will sit higher than advertised and ride harshly. If your truck runs unloaded or lightly loaded, order the standard (non-HD) SKU instead.
The Result

- King 2.5" Remote Reservoir coilovers with 17-4 stainless shafts and Carli Uniball UCAs — full down-travel requires the included UCAs; factory UCAs will restrict travel and put alignment geometry outside spec.
- HD multi-rate rear springs matched to King 2.5" Piggyback rear shocks — calibrated for constant 500 lb bed load on the 2019–2026 DT platform.
The Carli Uniball Upper Control Arms (CS-RAM15UCA-09) are not an optional upgrade — they are included and required. The factory Ram 1500 UCAs use a rubber ball joint that binds at the increased droop angle produced by 2.5" of lift. The Carli Uniball replaces that rubber joint with a zero-bind spherical bearing, allowing the suspension to reach full down-travel without joint bind restricting the stroke. Without the UCAs installed, down-travel is mechanically limited and alignment geometry falls outside spec. The King 2.5" Remote Reservoir coilover runs a 2.5" body diameter with a remote reservoir canister — more oil volume than a standard 2.0" coilover, raising the thermal ceiling before fade onset under repeated off-road impacts or sustained towing. The 17-4 stainless steel shafts are a precipitation-hardened stainless alloy with higher tensile strength than standard chrome-moly and significantly better corrosion resistance. The 600 lb linear-rate front coils are spec'd for the Rebel/Off-Road Package front perch geometry — the coil perch height on Rebel and Off-Road Package trucks differs from standard Ram 1500 trims, and this spring rate is calibrated for that specific geometry. The HD rear multi-rate springs engage progressively under load — at constant 500 lb bed load they operate within their designed rate range; without that load, the initial rate is too stiff for the unsprung weight of the rear axle alone, producing the harsh, high-riding behavior described in the HD application warning above.

Installation Notes
- Uniball UCAs (CS-RAM15UCA-09) are included and required. Do not install without UCAs — down-travel will be restricted and alignment geometry will be outside spec.
- Stainless braided brake lines (CS-RAM15BBL-19) must be installed with the front coilovers — factory lines do not have sufficient length at full down-travel.
- Verify truck trim level before installation. Rebel and Off-Road Package front coil perch dimensions differ from standard Ram 1500 trims.
- Full front-end alignment mandatory post-installation. UCA geometry change affects caster and camber — verify final alignment specs with installer.
- Torque all fasteners to Carli specification. Re-torque all suspension fasteners at 500-mile break-in interval.
