Installation & Fabrication Notes

• Housing requires press-fit bushing installation — use a proper bushing press or C-clamp press tool. Do not hammer bushing in without a press.
• Verify axle bracket ear width matches 1.750" housing width before installation — shimming may be required on modified or aftermarket axle housings.
• Inspect housing bore for ovality or scoring before pressing in a new bushing — a worn or out-of-round bore will not retain the bushing under load.
• When installing a GIIRO bushing: ensure the dual-durometer outer layer seats fully flush with the housing shoulder on both faces before torquing the UCA bolt.
