The COR-4500340 is Clayton Off Road's custom front adjustable track bar builder kit for solid-axle Jeep platforms running high-steer conversions or custom front suspension geometry. The kit ships with a 24" unfinished DOM tube (1.5" OD, 0.156" wall) and forged Johnny Joints pre-installed at both ends — the fabricator cuts the tube to the required length for their specific axle position, bracket location, and lift height, then welds the tube ends to final length. The final center-to-center range is 29-13/16" to 31-11/16", covering the front track bar length requirements for XJ, ZJ, TJ, and LJ platforms across a range of lift heights and axle positions. The frame-end joint is a 2.5" forged Johnny Joint with a 2.625" body width and 9/16" thru-bolt — the larger body provides higher load capacity at the frame mount where lateral forces are highest. The axle-end joint is a 1.6" forged Johnny Joint with a 1.6" body width and 9/16" thru-bolt — the narrower profile clears high-steer knuckle geometry without contact through the full steering sweep. Both joints are RH thread for double-adjustable length tuning and are greaseable and rebuildable for long-term serviceability. Compatible with 1/4" brackets at both ends. Made in the USA.

Installation & Fabrication Notes
- Fabrication required. The 24" DOM tube must be cut to your required length and welded to final dimension. This is not a bolt-on track bar.
- Determine your required center-to-center length based on your axle position, bracket location, and lift height before cutting — measure twice, cut once.
- Final length range is 29-13/16" to 31-11/16" center-to-center — do not cut the tube shorter than required to achieve minimum final length.
- Verify 1/4" bracket thickness at both frame and axle mount before installation — thicker brackets will reduce the effective joint travel range.
- Grease both Johnny Joints at the zerk fittings before first use and at regular service intervals.
- After installation, verify full steering sweep from lock to lock with no contact between the axle-end joint and the high-steer knuckle or tie rod at any point in the sweep.
- Set track bar length with the axle centered under the vehicle at ride height — do not set length at full droop or full compression.
- Torque 9/16" thru-bolts to your specific bracket specification — verify with Clayton's hardware torque spec for 9/16" Grade 8 hardware.
Wheel & Tire Fitment
Compatible with standard XJ/ZJ/TJ/LJ wheel and tire combinations. Track bar length and axle centering affect tire clearance at full steering lock — verify clearance after installation with your specific tire size and lift height.
Engineering Question: Have you confirmed your final required center-to-center length falls within the 29-13/16" to 31-11/16" range? If your application requires a length outside this range, this builder kit will not provide sufficient tube material. Also confirm your steering system is a high-steer conversion — the 1.6" axle-end joint is sized for high-steer knuckle clearance and may not clear stock steering geometry at full lock.
